GENERAL RACE INFORMATION
August 23, 2025: Bear Jaw Groove: 6HR MTB Relay Race in Flagstaff, Arizona. Race it as a single, duo, or 4 person team + sign up for our 11,22,33,44 Mile Events. We also have a free kids race where you will sign them up online.
- Start Time: 9am
- Distance: 10.5 miles
August 24, 2025: Groovin' In the Aspens: 6K, 10K, 20K Trail Run
- Start Times: 20K - 8am / 10K - 8:15 / 6K - 8:30
- Aid Stations: Water provided at all stations. Locations: TBD
- Snacks and drinks provided at Start/Finish
6K: Our 6k event is on smooth easy “green” that surround the expo area of the event. A relatively flat course throughout the aspens and very friendly.
10K uses a combination of single track and jeep road with 682 feet of elevation gain.
20K is also a combination of mostly single track and few Jeep roads with 900 feet of elevation gain.
30K is 1 Black loop and 1 Blue loop
50K is 2 Black loops and 1 Blue loop

Fort Valley Trailhead: Search “Fort Valley Trailhead” in your maps app. It is located off Highway 180 on the way toward Snowbowl

- Bear Jaw Groove: August 22, 2025: Kickstand Cafe 12pm-4pm
- Groovin' in the Aspens: August 22, 2025: Run Flagstaff 12pm-4pm
Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 6:00am at Fort Valley Trailhead and end at 8:00
We accept cash, check, and credit card on race day.
We do welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons but keep in mind that this is a trail run and there will be some areas of the course that will be difficult to maneuver.
